Tags

Tags are a shared vocabulary you can attach to work items, projects, customers, customer groups and work teams. Anyone can create, edit and delete tags; the only gated action is locking.

• Tags (side menu) lists every tag with its Description, its Usage count and a Search this tag button that opens the search page filtered to it.
• The Tag text is unique, up to 50 characters; the Color presets stay readable in both light and dark themes.
• Locked (needs the lock and unlock tags permission) makes the tag read-only for everyone else, so a naming convention cannot be edited away.
• On an edit form, picking or removing a tag is saved immediately, which is why tags appear once the item itself exists.
• Tags are a filter facet on the work items, customers, customer groups and teams lists and on the search page. Deleting a tag tells you how many elements it will be removed from.
