Customer work items
Customer work items (side menu, under Customers, or the Work Items button on a customer's card) shows everything scheduled for one customer — as a list or on a calendar — and lets you add work for that customer from the same place. It is available when an administrator has enabled the Customers feature.
Pick a customer in the Customer box; the page remembers your filters, your view and your calendar settings, but not the customer, so a link to the page always says which customer it shows. Add Work Item opens the editor with the customer already filled in; Save and close or Cancel bring you back here.
The list
Rows are the customer's work items you are allowed to see, plus the not-yet-created occurrences of repeating tasks linked to the customer (marked with the repeat icon). A due date shows in amber when it is today and in red when it has passed on an item that is not done. Each row takes one line: a summary that does not fit is cut short, and hovering over it shows it whole.
Filters: Timeframe — Upcoming (a start or due date today or later, or no date at all), Past (every date it has is before today) or All — Scheduled occurrences (Only them, or Hide them; by default they follow the real items), Status, Assignee (one or more people, or Unassigned) and Tags. The search box matches the summary, the task number, the assignee and the task type.
The calendar
The calendar switch shows the same items month by month. An item appears on its start date (clock icon, blue tint) and on its due date (calendar icon, amber tint; stronger when due today, red once overdue). Choose Start dates, Due dates or Both to plot one or the other. A pending occurrence of a repeating task has a dashed edge; opening it creates the task for that day.
An entry opens its details and, when you may edit the item, Set status with the same choices the board offers. Changing to a done status on an item with active sub-items asks whether to close them too.
When a month is empty, Previous item and Next item jump to the month holding the nearest item outside it; the same shortcuts sit under the month name whenever there is something on either side.
Sharing with the customer
When the Customer link is enabled in the configuration, administrators see Share with the customer above the list. Switch on Share this customer's work, then Send the link: the customer gets an email with a link to a page of their own, and opens it by typing their email address. Copy link copies the same link. The customer needs a code and an email address in their record.
The page shows the customer's tasks and subtasks in progress, and those finished in the month they pick, with their status and dates. It shows only items anyone in the workspace may see, under no archived project; never descriptions, comments, files, people or time. A wrong address, a customer not shared and a link switched off all answer the same way, and after ten wrong addresses in an hour the link stops answering until the hour passes.
