Home
Home is the page you land on after signing in — except the very first time, when it sends you to a short welcome page instead. Create work item (Create task in Basic mode) is offered when you are allowed to create work items.
An administrator also sees Getting started above the tiles: six first steps, each with a line that says what to do and a link to its page.
| Step | Ticked when |
|---|---|
| Add an example project | The workspace has something to try the other steps on: a customer or a work item, from an example or your own. It unticks if they are all removed. |
| Add your customers | The workspace has its first customer, added by hand or imported. |
| Set a fee rule | A customer or a customer group is saved with an amount to charge: a rate, or fees on top of the group's. |
| Log an hour | Time spent is recorded on a task. |
| See what to charge | A charge statement is downloaded from the Spent report. |
| Invite a colleague | An administrator invites someone or adds them as a user. |
A step is ticked the moment the workspace does it, whoever does it, without reloading the page. Apart from the first step, what an example project brings ticks nothing. The links stay after a step is ticked, so you can repeat it. The round mark beside a step ticks or unticks it by hand; your marks are your own and change nothing for anyone else. Dismiss hides the card for you; My profile brings it back.
- Working on project — the project you are currently working in. Change project opens the Projects page; Current project only narrows the two tiles below to this project. With no active project the tile offers Select a project.
- Assigned to me — your items in two columns: Open (Draft and Open) and In Progress (In Progress and On Hold). Rows are sorted most urgent first: priority, then earliest due date, then task number. Overdue items are highlighted. My board opens the full board.
- My work teams — one block per team you belong to, listing open, unassigned items restricted to that team, including tickets a public form routed to the team. Take assigns an item to you.
Scheduled occurrences of repeating tasks only appear here when they start within the next 14 days. The tiles refresh live when someone else changes a work item.
The board view of the items assigned to you has its own page: My board.
New here? The help's first page has a one-minute video of a task and a report.
