Activity feed
What the activity feed shows
Reports → Activity lists the recorded changes across your whole workspace, newest first: who made each change, when, to what, and what it was — including deletions. The feed covers work item changes and customer changes: a customer's name, code, active state, type, group, account manager, member-since date, email, phone, address, notes and custom fields. Uploading and deleting files on either is recorded too, naming the file and its folder; a file re-uploaded over one of the same name reads as a change rather than an addition, and deleting a folder is recorded once, under the folder's name. Fees are never recorded, so the feed cannot reveal financial information to someone who may not see it. Contact people on a customer are not recorded yet.
It is a change log, not a security audit trail: it shows edits to your data, not who viewed what. Sign-ins, failed attempts, blocks, password changes and role or group changes are in the security log.
Hover the avatar of a row for the name of who made the change. The item it happened to is a link that opens the work item or customer, unless it has since been deleted.
Filters
Open Filters to narrow the feed:
- Item type — keep only work items or only customers.
- Change type — keep only creations, changes or deletions. This is about the customer or work item itself, so Deletions finds deleted items, not deleted files: everything that happens to an item's files counts as a change to that item.
- Date range — changes made between two days (inclusive).
The feed loads the newest entries first; use Load more at the bottom to keep going back in time. Changing a filter starts the list over from the newest entry.
Who can see it
The feed needs the view activity feed permission. It shows every recorded change in the workspace — including changes to work items that are otherwise restricted — so it is granted through the Supervisors group by default, and administrators always have it. Users without the permission do not see the menu entry.
